Shopaholic!!

I've covered a couple of challenges with this card :) I've never managed as yet to take part in the 'Anyone for Anya' challenge and when I saw this fab sketch by Dawny P I had to give it a go!!
I have also used this week's colour combo of Apricot and Cool Aqua from Passion for Promarkers, gorgeous colours and not two I would of thought of using together :)

Anya is coloured in the following -

Skin - Ivory & Blush
Hair - Sandstone, Cocoa and Cinnamon
Outfit & Bags - Apricot and Cool Aqua
Outlining - Pastel Beige

The cardstock is SU, I have embossed the orange layer with the argyll embossing folder (it matches her socks lol!) and the patterned paper is DCWV Pocketful of Posies. The sentiment is from an old See D's set.

The extra challenge from Passion for Promarkers is 'flowers', mine are very small!! but I did'nt want a large flower and liked this design :0) I used 2 different flower punches and added mini gems.

Thanks for looking xx

Fairy wishes...

The DoubleDutch Challenge blog is celebrating it's 1st birthday this week with some fabulous prizes and a fun challenge :0)

The challenge is to make a Fun File Folder and tag following Marja's wonderful instructions. I have used this cute fairy from the Fenella & Friends range at Squiggle Stamps. I have coloured the image with promarkers and added some clear glitter pen to her wings!

The papers are K & Co Wild Raspberry and I have embellished with punched flowers and swirls, buttons and the pink 'cute' badge :0) The sentiment is Hero Arts.
I think this folder would be perfect for a gift card, bookmark etc. and will be making more of these :)

Back soon, thanks for looking xx

Have your 'elf' a Merry Little Christmas!!

A couple of cute elves cards from me today!!
This 1st card is for the PaperTakeWeekly sketch #24 challenge. I have used this very cute Christmas Elf from Squiggle Stamps. He is just part of the Christmas Elves kit - see HERE.

I have used some gorgeous Bo Bunny papers (also available as a mini kit from Squiggle!) and coloured the image with promarkers. I found the fab 'little elf' stamp in a 99p bucket of clear stamps, a perfect sentiment for this little guy, they are by Studio G.
I just added some red gingham ribbon and pearls to finish :0)

For this card I coloured in the image in readiness for the Passion for Promarkers challenge of using Marine and Emerald. This was before I saw the extra challenge of 'anything but a card' LOL! I will have to get my thinking cap on for that one :0)

I have used the scraps of paper leftover from the previous card. All the Bo Bunny papers are double-sided so fab for mix and matching.

The stripy paper is embossed with the cuttlebug snowflakes folder. I have added the stack of pressies and sentiment from the Christmas Elves kit and a polka dot bow and punched snowflakes to finish.

Some Squiggle projects to share...

Thought I'd share a couple more projects I've made with my Squiggle Stamps :0) The 1st project is a mini pizza box with matching notelets made using one of the fab Whimsical stamp range called 'Home Sweet Home'. Perfect for new home cards, we're moving etc :0)

I followed the instructions on SplitcoastStampers to make the mini box. I used Kraft card for the box and notelets and some scraps of K & Co paper. I did some machine stitching and simply added some adhesive ribbon for the notelets, same for the box but I added some buttons too! I love buttons at the moment :0)

The images were coloured simply with no blending with my prisma's straight onto the Kraft, I like this effect.

This card uses the very sweet 'Daisy with Flowers', one of my favourites I think!! all in shades of brown. The image is coloured with promarkers and the papers are Stampin Up.

I have been colouring some very mischevious elves today so they will be making an appearance soon :0)

Gorjuss Saturday...

A card I have made for the weekly Gorjuss Girl challenge over on the Docrafts forum. The challenge this week is 'Stars & Stripes' and also to inc. the following -

At least 2 backing papers
Embossing
3 embellishments, glitter and a sentiment :0)

I used my Fiskars template to make a star shaped mat, embossed the background with swiss dots, and I've handmade a retro punched flower following a fab tutorial over at Rach's blog.

The gorjuss girl is coloured with promarkers and the papers are MME Bloom & Grow. The sentiment is from a See D's set.

I also managed to use my sewing machine! I even had a go at the star shape!! bit wobbly but better!

Hope your having a great weekend :0)

Snowflake Daisy...

As promised yesterday here is my card using 'Snowflake Daisy' from Squiggle Stamps. I think she looks so different in the wintery/icy colours and of course complete with her snowflake!!

I have used sketch #19 (rotated) from the Sketch & Stash challenge for the layout and the gorgeous pink papers are DCWV.

The new stash is the Daisy stamp and the snowflake punch :)

Daisy is coloured with promarkers and I added stickles beneath her for an icy look. I inked up the snowflake with a promarker so they matched the outfit! The punched snowflake I embossed in the cuttlebug with a snowflake folder :0)

The sentiment is actually from the Christmas Elves kit, which you can find HERE.

Well that's my 1st Christmas card made this year!! one down, many more to go!!!

Autumn wishes...

An autumn card for an autumn feeling day today :0)

I have covered 3 challenges with this card! The layout is sketch #68 from Sketch Saturday. The theme at A Spoonfull of Sugar is 'autumn' and at Passion For Promarkers it is an open colour challenge but you must inc. polka dots.
I have used one of the new Squiggle Stamps called 'Snowflake Daisy' (I just did'nt ink up the snowflake!!) I thinks she's perfect for autumn cards too, wrapped up cosy for a walk in the leaves!!

I have made another card with her today including the snowflake! and it looks so different, I will share that one tomorrow :0)

Daisy is coloured in the following -
Skin - Ivory & Blush
Hair - Sandstone, Cocoa and Cinnamon
Outfit - Moss, Ruby and Sandstone

The papers are MME Wild Asparagus and I used rub-ons to create the sentiment. The leaves are from a cuttlebug die.

Dont forget to enter the Squiggle Stamps Blog Candy HERE, there's still time to enter :0) There's some lovely projects for inspiration to see too!

Fly Away...

A card using an older Penny Black stamp called 'Fly Away'. I love this image and how this card turned out :0) even if I do say so myself LOL!!
Everything came together well and I love these colours together. I have used the colour combo of sandstone and blue pearl from Passion for Promarkers. The colours just said 'boy' card to me so that's the way I went.

The colours I used are -
Hair - Cinnamon
Skin - Ivory & Blush
Outfit & Plane - Sandstone and Blue Pearl
Puppy Dog - Cool Grey 1 & 2

The papers are Dovecraft and I have used my Martha Stewart punch, label nesties, ribbon, twine and gems.

The fabulous layout is the DT call sketch from Sketch Saturday. They are looking for new DT members and the 1st part of the call is to use the sketch below.

I had to use a bigger card as the image was so big but I think the layout lends itself well to a larger card too!

Here is a close up of the image :0)

I have coloured him with promarkers and all the papers were from my scrap box, must try and use some up! it's overflowing and it's amazing what you can find at the bottom LOL :0)

I dont have many boy embellishments but found this cute chipboard star and added some buttons too. The fab little sentiment is a freebie with the stamp, you can find him HERE.
