Manga Kids...

I bought one of the new cute Manga Kids yesterday :0) from Sugar Nellie and had to use it straight away!!

I have used the sketch from PaperTakeWeekly for the layout and this week's colour combo from Passion For Promarkers of Ruby & Gold with the added twist of jewels and gems.

I have used co-ordinating Coredinations cardstock embossed in the Cuttlebug and distressed a little and the patterned paper is from my scrap box. The image is coloured with promarkers (of course!) in the following colours -

Skin - Ivory and Blush

Hair - Warm Grey 1,2 & 3

Outfit - Ruby and Gold

Love the colour combo! Another great one from the girls at PFP :0)

This will be the last card from me for a couple of weeks as it's holiday time, yippee!! Hope to find a couple of craft shops on my travels and do a bit of shopping!! I'll be looking forward to crafting on my return :0)

Thanks for looking and happy crafting xx

Another late entry for the SugarBowl challenge from me :0) The 2 weeks just fly by!! but I had to take part as I love the sketch by Judy! The added option is 'sparkle' so I have used sparkly yellow/gold gems in the corners.

I have used the gorgeous 'picking apples' for the image coloured with promarkers and the papers are Bloom & Grow by My Mind's Eye. Love these papers especially the embossed ones :0)

Born to shop!

Attempt 2 for the Passion for Promarkers challenge!! I totally forgot about the sketch and stormed ahead with my previous card!!

So here is my 'real' Passion for Promarkers entry using both the sketch and the gorgeous colour combo of cornflower and cocoa :0)

I have used the same papers as the last card - Making Memories Cosmopolitan and colours as follows - Cocoa, Cornflower and Sandstone/Umber for shading, blush and ivory for skin.

I am also going to enter this for the Paperplay Challenge of 'fashion'. My blogging buddy Dei is on the DT and set this week's challenge. I've not entered before :0) so here's my card Dei!

The 3rd challenge is to use your 'favourite things' from Papertakeweekly, my fav's being my promarkers :0) and the blue/brown colour combo is an all time favourite of mine x

Friday Sketchers #59

A card for my niece's birthday this week :0) I have used Claudia's gorgeous sketch #59 from Fridaysketchers for the layout. The papers and card blank are all from a Cosmo Cricket QVC TSV and I finished by adding the gems and sentiment - a freebie from the last Docrafts mag.

This is my 1st Anya card! I just got the stamps this weekend and they are fab! Dont know why I waited so long to get them. Great to colour and perfect for girly cards for all ages :0)

The image is coloured with promarkers and I tried to give her red/auburn hair the same as my niece :) I used apricot and coral as I did'nt want to go too red/orange!! What colours does everyone else use for red/auburn hair???

Anyway thanks for looking xx

Teacher Cards...

Well the summer holiday's have officially begun here in Scotland! DS finished Thur. lunchtime and we have been busy already visiting the beach and park as the weather has just been so good :0)

Here are the two cards I made for DS's teachers. I started with the colours, I have used moss and poppy red promarkers as the main colours to colour in the cute Edwin image for the colour challenge over at the Passion for Promarkers blog.

The 1st card uses this week's sketch by Dawny from the PaperTakeWeekly blog. The papers are DCWV, thanks Eva x
The 2nd dotty and stripey card is last week's sketch #57 from Sketch Saturday. I did'nt get round to uploading it before the deadline :(
This is my entry for Passion for Promarkers as it includes the 'something tasty' option - the apple!!
Not sure of the papers as they were from my scrap box :0)
I hope to fit in some crafting during the hols as and when I can :0) so do keep popping by :0)
Thanks for looking xx

Sugar Bowl #13 - 'Upside Down'...

My card using sketch #13 by Lilian over at the Sugar Bowl blog! A new sketch challenge will be up tomorrow!! Why do I always leave it last minute?? although in my defence it has been just soooo HOT! certainly upstairs in my craft room to work :0)

Anyway's I love the sketch so I braved the heat armed with a fan and made this card! I have used one of the new Diane Duda stamps called 'Upside Down' along with some papers from Three Bugs in a Rug. The please include part of the challenge is 'kraft' or browns, so I used a brown mat to layer up the image as I dont have any kraft.

The image is coloured with promarkers and the chipboard flower is Brenda Pinnick.

I have also been busy making teacher cards as DS breaks up for summer tomorrow!!! so I will show them tomorrow :)

Thanks for looking and keep cool x
