Card for Mia..

A card for my niece Mia :0) to send along with some Easter goodies :0)

I have used another of Dawny's fab sketches from PaperTakeWeekly, sketch #11 along with the theme over at CuteCardThursday which is a card for a family member :0)

I have used this cute Hanglar image I received in a swap coloured with promarkers and all the papers and sentiments are freebies from a cardmaking mag!

I might not be blogging quite as often for the next couple of weeks as Easter hols have started here in Scotland and we have visitors coming in a week too. Still want to fit a few challenges in though :0) and I want to use my new nesties I got yesterday too, labels 2, cant wait to use them!!

I have used sketch #14 from DoubleDutch Challenges combined with the theme at Penny Black Saturday this week of 'doodling'. I have used a circle for my image though as I dont have any ovals :(

I still had these papers on my desk from the Easter card I made so I used them again!! They are lovely spring colours and matched this cute hedgie well :0)

Image coloured with prisma's and sansador and the sentiment is Penny Black too.

Basic Grey Challenge - Texture

I was asked to make a 60th card this week so I have incorporated this week's challenge over at Basic Grey Challenges of texture :0)

I have used this gorgeous cuttlebug embossing folder for my 'texture' and a SU stampset called 'Pocket Silhouettes'. The patterned paper is from the Sugared range from Basic Grey.
I added some bling to the embossed flowers and finished with a ribbon bow.

The 2nd card is just me playing with this stamp set ;0) Botanical Blooms from SU. One to go in my card box!!

A fun card today :0) I have used the fabulous sketch #43 over at Sketch Saturday combined with today's theme at A Spoonfull of Sugar - 'Easter'.

I have had this image for a looong time, I received it a swap ages ago!!

I have coloured the image with prisma's and sansador and the flower paper is by American Crafts, not sure where the gingham is from?

The 'hoppy easter' sentiment is handwritten :0)

Just because...

A 'just because I wanted to play with this stamp set' card from me today!! It is called Botanical Blooms and it is from Stampin Up.

I love floral stamps :0) and these are no exception. I dont use all my floral stamps enough so thought I'd make a card!

Saying that not totally happy with it LOL! not sure on the layout or the OTT bow but I enjoyed making it so that's all that matters!!

Hope you like it :0)

CCSR - Limited Supplies challenge..

Clare's challenge this week over at the Stampin' Chic blog is 'limited supplies'! Only one piece of patterned paper to be used!!

Any theme as long as one of the supplies ie: stamps or paper is from the CCSR.

I have used a piece of patterned paper from 'the Big one', I love polka dot paper and teamed it with a gorjuss girl from Sugar Nellie coloured with promarkers. The sentiment is also CCSR and the ribbon and flowers are Docrafts.

I do love this colour combo, one of my favourites :0)

PBS #40 - A sketch..

I'm on a roll!! another challenge I've managed to do straight away :0) DH has taken DS for a bike ride and swimming!! so I get to spend some time in my craft room (mess!!)

I have used this week's sketch over at Penny Black Saturday by Tracie, another fabulous sketch which I will be keeping to use again!!

The stamp is called 'kickin', and I have coloured the image with prisma's and sansador. The papers are Making Memories - Olivia. The background panel looked a bit bare in just the plain green so I have embossed it top and bottom with one of the small Cuttlebug folders.

I have flipped the sketch so I could add the sentiment as this is for a crafty friends b-day next week :0)

Friday Sketchers #43 - Carole's Sketch

I'm on the ball today!! dont usually manage to get the challenges done straight away :) I'm always last minute, but saw this sketch on Friday Sketchers this morning and I had been busy colouring images last night so I was halfway there!!

Love this sketch Carole, another I shall be adding to my sketch file to use again :0)

I have used a Panduro? girl kindly sent to me by Tammi, thanks Tammi x Coloured her with my markers in the same colours as the gorjuss girl a few days ago and then I found some freebie papers from a magazine which were perfect, the swirly one is the free one, the stripy is DCWV.

Finished with some punched flowers and another pretty butterfly from a past Docrafts magazine.

Other exciting news is my Spring Magnolia Club kit has just landed on my doormat so I'll have to get cutting and inking!

Truly Scrumptious #2

I have just discovered this new challenge blog, Truly Scrumptious :0) Love this sketch so had to make a card!

Another Gorjuss girl! in a favourite colour combo of pink and brown. The papers are gorgeous, the swirly one is really glittery, not sure if that shows up on the photo.
I have embossed the circle with a paisley embossing folder and highlighted it with chalk ink.

Image coloured with promarkers, I am going to colour a couple in with my prisma's as I have limited colours in the markers and only 1 colour for the hair, so I think I'll have a go at black hair and try a more goth look :0) watch this space!!
Anyway thanks for looking and Hello to my new followers!!!

SugarBowl Christmas!

Two Gorjuss girls in one day!! I suddenly realised the current challenge over at the SugarBowl finishes tomorrow! I dont know where those 2 weeks have gone :0)

So I have coloured another Gorjuss girl in winter colours this time and made this Christmas card, the 1st this year!

The papers, buttons and alpha stickers are from a past Scrapagogo kit, Decembers? I think, I love the olive green and chocolate colours together!

Thanks for a great challenge Sugar girlies ;0)

PTW - Fab sketch by Dawny

My card using this week's fabulous sketch by Dawny over at PaperTakeWeekly. I was VERY lucky to be able to stamp a few Gorjuss girls out whilst at a friends last weekend :0) They really are gorjuss and great to colour, thanks Ger! Take a look at Ger's blog, she has made some gorgeous cards with the gorjuss girls!!

I will have to get a couple when they hit the shop as singles!! Cant wait to see the 2nd set too!

I have coloured the image with promarkers, adding highlights with a white pen. The papers are a mix of DCWV spring stack and Papermania Retro Floral. Sentiment is Elzybells and the pretty butterfly and flower were freebies with a Docrafts magazine.

My card for this week's challenge over at Penny Black Saturday. The theme is 'something to eat' and I found this stamp I have'nt used in ages and the ducks are having some food!!

It's a lovely day here in Scotland, fingers crossed Spring is here :0) so this inspired me to use some nice bright colours for the card. I have'nt put a sentiment on the card as I think I will use this as a notecard to catch up with a friend :0)

Clare's Sketch/Colour Challenge..

My card for the new challenge blog dedicated to the Clare Curd Signature Range from Papermania. These are fabby stamps with gorgeous co-ordinated patterned papers.

Clare launched these new products last weekend and set a sketch and a colour challenge for us all :0)

The colour combo was turquoise, pink and black, a great mix for a striking card. I have used one of the stamps from the Stampin Chic Party range along with one from the sentiment pack. The papers are from the 'Big One'! and the paper flowers are from Papermania too. The embossed background is a sheet of the 'black magic' range embossed with a cuttlebug swiss dots folder.

I have used the colour combo from the Colour Create challenge blog along with the option to use lace and pearls. I just love blue and brown together.

The layout is this week's sketch #5 from Sketch and Stash, the new stash being my newest stamp from Sugar Nellie available from Funkykits.

Papers are from a DCWV Spring Stack and the little felt flowers are from American Crafts.

I am hoping to have a full crafting day tomorrow :0) so I will have more cards to show soon!!
